Shiatsu Massage

This traditional Japanese form of bodywork relies on pressure and stretching to relieve blocked energy. The thumbs, palms, elbows, knees and feet are used to work along the body's meridians, or energy flow lines, to help balance energy flow and strengthen the vital organs. The therapist assesses the condition of the patient's body as treatment progresses, therapy and diagnosis are one. The treatment is done on a mat on the floor, without any oils. Please wear loose comfortable clothing during your session.

Utilizing varied pressure and a combination of several massage techniques including the soothing, fluid, rhythmical stroke of Swedish massage, trigger point release, passive stretching, and targeted pressure points, your therapist will create a unique treatment specifically for your needs. This style of bodywork can be slow and gentle or vigorous and bracing, depending on your personal preference. Our exclusive healing oils and lotions are used to help lubricate and stimulate the skin while also reducing friction.

Deep Tissue Massage

For those who prefer more intensive pressure, this technique builds upon the Swedish massage, using a more vigorous and intense stroke to provide a deeper muscle release. Throughout the session, your therapist will focus on the deepest layers of muscle tissue, tendons, and fascia (the protective layer surrounding muscles, bones, and joints). By stimulating blood flow and relieving knotted muscles, this style of bodywork is well suited for severe and chronic muscle pains. Our exclusive healing oils and lotions are used to help lubricate and stimulate the skin while also reducing friction.

Hot Stone Massage

The gentle heat of smooth, heated stones will speed relaxation of the muscles and effectively calm the nervous system. Applied to key points of the body, warmed stones help to relieve tension, ease muscle stiffness, and increase circulation and metabolism. This technique results in a deeper release of the muscles, while simultaneously offering a warm, soothing, and incredibly relaxing massage experience. Used in conjunction with Swedish Massage techniques, this style of bodywork allows for a more intense release of the muscles than in a traditional massage, while you enjoy warmth and comfort.

Pregnancy Massage

Gentle massage is a safe and effective form of complimentary prenatal care, reducing stress and increasing the overall well-being of a mother-to-be. This is a deeply relaxing treatment created to alleviate the discomfort and fatigue associated with pregnancy. Benefits include improved circulation, alleviated back and hip pain, headache relief, and reduction in leg cramping and ankle swelling. Available to clients who have completed their first trimester of pregnancy.

Raindrop Therapy Massage

The Raindrop technique stimulates energy impulses throughout the entire body using therapeutic essential oils along the spine, which are then incorporated into a massage that's completed by the application of a hot compress. This technique is uniquely effect in that it is designed to bring the body back into structural and electrical alignment. Spinal misalignment is often caused by the buildup of dormant toxins within the spine. The precise use of pure essential oils draws out these impurities, enabling the body to return to structural and electrical alignment.

Tandem Massage

You and your partner will each receive a 50-minute Signature massage. While one receives his or her massage, the other will enjoy a healing footbath and a heat-therapy treatment.

Reflexology

A style of massage that focuses primarily on the hands or feet, Reflexology targets specific points on the body’s extremities to send signals to the brain and balance the overall nervous system. Your practitioner will use a variety of techniques that will include stretching and moving the feet, and applying varying degrees of pressure to specific points that correspond to certain organs and other parts of the body. Your treatment will begin with a healing footbath, followed by a foot and lower leg massage, resulting in the relief of tension throughout your entire body.

Natural Energy Healing

Our Natural Energy Healing treatment focuses energies containing unconditional love and unceasing light. The utilization of certain specialized techniques enables our professionally-trained natural energy healer to heal clients at the source of their discomfort and disease. Whirlpool Tub Soak

Enjoy a relaxing and rejuvenating soak in the whirlpool tub featured in our Healing Center’s Springwater Spa. Nestled below a beautiful arched cathedral window in a private and quiet atmosphere, the jetted tub promotes gentle relaxation of the body and mind—relieving tense, aching muscles, melting away mental stress and strain. The warm, hydrotherapeutic waters are spirit rejuvenating, leaving you feeling soothed, yet energized. A wonderful experience at any time of the day, but especially right before bedtime. Tub capacity is limited to 1–2 persons per soaking session.
