"A fully conscious life lived on purpose is an awakened life of love and service."
Nancy O’Brien knew something was terribly wrong. Overstressed and riddled with an impending sense of doom after years of working as an investigative journalist, she instinctively felt that death would come quickly if she didn’t learn how to relax. Nancy knew she was dying, while the doctors she saw merely dismissed her convictions as the neurotic rantings of a burned-out reporter who needed a new career and a pill.
Uninterested in accepting the solution of mind-numbing chemicals, Nancy began a relentless pursuit of the “Holy Grail”—determined to heal herself by using natural healing methods and meditation. She tried countless natural healing modalities and meditative practices, to no avail. And though she couldn’t always identify the missing element in her quest for healing, she knew when it was time to move on, to keep looking.
Nancy’s search came to an end when she was introduced to the teachings of a spiritual recluse from the Pacific Northwest who cognized powerful, natural healing techniques. She began practicing the first level meditation techniques, feeling forever changed from that point forward. Within a year, she had taken every class available and became certified to teach others the Sacred Merkaba Techniques that she had been in search of for so long.
Nancy met Clifford Launt at a SMT Teacher Training course in Washington in 2003, and after discovering that they lived only two hours away from one another, they began working together on several international healing endeavors—including a number of healing campaigns in South Africa.
By 2005, Nancy was traveling across North America, Europe, and the South Pacific to assist in the training of teachers, while Clifford moved to an AIDS-infested tribal community in South Africa to set up a healing center. Upon his return to the United States in 2007, he and Nancy resumed teaching and healing as a team at home and abroad.
In 2010, Nancy and Clifford joined forces with a fellow natural energy healer to help resurrect a series of 4,000-year-old Egyptian healing techniques known as Wab Sekhmet.
Nancy lives with her family in Ontario, Canada, but travels to the Little Lakes Healing Center as needed to offer her unique healing advisory services.
