“I’ve always believed in the healing power of bodywork, but it wasn’t until I incorporated the natural energy healing techniques of the Sacred Merkaba that I felt that I was able to fully heal people at the deepest level.”
Asami has been studying the art of therapeutic massage and bodywork for over ten years. She is an accredited practitioner of Shiatsu, receiving her professional certification from the Iokai Shiatsu Center in Japan. She is also a certified practitioner of the American Organization for Bodywork and Therapies of Asia (AOBTA). Asami received LMT training and earned her Associates degree in Therapeutic Massage/Integrated Health Care from Finger Lakes Community College in 2003.
Asami discovered the magic of Shiatsu as a young child in Japan, and continued to pursue her passion here in the United States. In addition to massage, she has explored numerous traditions of meditation and natural energy healing, including Tai-Chi, Qi-Gong, and Kundalini Yoga. In 2009 she met and trained under Clifford M. Launt to become a certified Sacred Merkaba Natural Energy Healer, exclusively. In 2010, she attained advanced certification as a teacher of the Sacred Merkaba Techniques and practitioner of advanced healing treatments, becoming a Wab Sekhmet Healer.
A core member of our Little Lakes healing team, Asami offers “Beyond the Body” bodywork, combining her practice of Sacred Merkaba Natural Energy Healing with variations of Shiatsu and Swedish Massage to effectively uplift and heal the whole being of her clients: body, mind, and spirit.
